In Property Tax for 2005

This figure is arrived at by taking  the Birch Bay Water Sewer District as the assessed value.  Multiply it by the road district rate, then multiply it by the by the fire district rate.  (This part is tricky, Fire 7 is from the Bay Road south. Fire 13 is from the Bay Road north.)  Add your road number to your fire number then find a number for our lighting district.  (It is really a fee, but many cities use taxes to pay for their street lights.)  Add all three numbers together and you will come up with a similar number to the one above.
